Job summary

OSM Thome is hiring a Crew Officer for the Philippines to coordinate crew changes, manage vessel rotation plans, and verify certifications and visa documentation. The role requires collaborating with Masters, Port Agents, and the Personnel Manager to ensure smooth crewing operations.

The ideal candidate has a maritime or HR qualification and at least 1 year of post-graduate crewing experience in shipping or offshore industries, with strong English and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ideally holds a relevant qualification in maritime, HR, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of post-graduate crewing experience in the shipping and/or offshore industry.
• Highly motivated, structured, organised, and quality-driven.
• Demonstrates strong initiative and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and audit manning agency performance.
