Responsibilities

• Verify applicant information through phone calls, online sources, and submitted documents.
• Conduct telephone verification with applicants, employers, references, and other authorized contacts.
• Validate information such as employment, income, residence, business, and references as applicable.
• Review loan applications and supporting documents for completeness and consistency.
• Cross-check information provided by applicants against available records and systems.
• Identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential red flags in loan applications.
• Accurately encode and update verification results in the company's system.
• Prepare and submit credit verification reports within the required turnaround time.
• Coordinate with Sales and Credit teams regarding missing information or verification concerns.
• Escalate questionable or inconsistent information to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of applicant information.
• Follow company policies, credit verification procedures, and data privacy requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
