Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Credit Review Officer to conduct comprehensive credit assessments for commercial and corporate borrowers, supporting sound lending decisions through rigorous financial analysis and effective risk governance. You will work closely with business units to maintain a high-quality credit portfolio while balancing growth and risk.

The role requires strong knowledge of credit risk analysis, CPA advantage is a plus, and prior experience as a Commercial/Corporate Credit Analyst or

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
At least 3 years of credit experience in commercial or corporate lending.
Strong knowledge of credit risk analysis.
Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience as a Commercial/Corporate Credit Analyst or Relationship Manager.
CPA with relevant experience is an advantage.
Experience as a Credit Officer handling commercial and consumer loan portfolios.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Institutional Banking Segment (IBS) for pre-approval documents and manage assigned accounts with the Lending Officer.
Prepare ERCA for renewal of IBS credit facilities per policy and SLAs.
Validate information and data submitted by lending units during credit evaluation.
Assess collateral-related issues and mitigating controls.
Identify policy and regulatory exceptions and provide recommendations.
Prepare financial spreadsheets and perform analyses for new borrowing clients.
Determine and evaluate credit risk ratings to ensure accuracy and relevance.
