Job summary

Metrobank is seeking a Credit Review Officer to perform the preparation and credit assessment of loan proposals and related borrowers. You will handle credit risk assessment, portfolio management, and ensure conformity to internal and external policies.

You will coordinate with Institutional Banking Segment, prepare ERCA renewals, validate data from lending units, assess collateral deviations, and determine credit risk rating to support sound lending decisions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accountancy, Accounting Management, Math, Statistics, Financial Management or Economics.
• With any of the following backgrounds: at least 2 years of experience in handling Commercial and Corporate Loans Credit.
• Experience in Credit Risk Officer, Credit Analyst, or Credit Manager roles in financial institutions preferred.
• Experience in Commercial / Corporate Relationship Management and Consumer Lending credits considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and credit assessment of loan proposals and corresponding borrowers.
• Credit Risk and Portfolio Management.
• Conformity to internal and external policies.
• Coordinate with IBS counterparts on timely submission of pre-approval documents and management of assigned portfolios.
• Prepare ERCA for credit line renewals according to policy and SLA with IBS.
• Validate data provided by lending units as part of the credit assessment.
• Assess collateral and documentation deviations and necessary mitigations.
• Identify policy/regulatory deviations to ensure accurate risk assessment and recommendations.
• Prepare financial spreadsheets and evaluations for new borrowing clients.
