Job summary

Grace Global Business Services (GBS) in Manila, Philippines seeks a Credit Risk & Reporting Lead to oversee global credit evaluation and risk analytics. You will manage a team, partner with Sales, Finance, and other functions, and drive policy enforcement to support growth with disciplined risk management.

You will own risk reporting, leverage SAP/SAC/Celonis dashboards, and implement data-driven insights to improve decision making and governance across regions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or credit operations.
  • 3+ years of team leadership or people management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, credit policy management, financial statement analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with ERP and analytics platforms (e.g., SAP, SAC, Celonis, or similar tools).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of credit analysts to ensure high-quality performance and alignment with goals.
  • Assist the Credit & Collections Manager in setting performance expectations and fostering a high-performing culture.
  • Drive standardization of processes and policies across regions within GBS.
  • Oversee global credit policy development, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Review new customer credit applications and set credit limits based on risk assessments.
  • Own creation and delivery of credit risk reports and dashboards using SAP/SAC/Celonis/Excel.

Job Description

The Credit Risk & Reporting Lead plays a critical role in overseeing global credit evaluation processes and risk analytics across the organization. This position leads a team of credit professionals and collaborates closely with Sales, Finance, and other business partners to ensure sound credit decisions, robust risk governance, and accurate reporting. The role drives the implementation of global credit policies and leverages data-driven insights to improve decision‑making and support business objectives.

Responsibilities (1 Of 2)
Leadership, Team Management, and GBS Support
  • Support and guide a team of credit analysts to ensure high‑quality performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Actively assist the Credit & Collections Manager, Global in setting performance expectations, provide feedback, and cultivate a high‑performing, collaborative team culture.
  • Encourage the team to take ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team to support both operational and strategic priorities.
  • Align team deliverables with broader risk management strategies and GBS initiatives.
  • Support the Credit & Collections Manager, Global in driving alignment, process standardization and policy enforcement across regions
  • Contribute actively to GBS Manila site initiatives, helping to build a culture of excellence, innovation, and operational transparency.
Credit Risk Management
  • Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of global credit policies, procedures, and internal controls to standardize practices and mitigate credit risk.
  • Review and assess new customer credit applications, including financial statement analysis, credit bureau (e.g., Moody’s), and internal scoring models.
  • Evaluate and set credit limits and terms for new and existing accounts based on risk assessments, financial performance, and alignment with business needs.
  • Manage periodic review of existing accounts to reassess credit limits and ensure they remain appropriate over time.
  • Oversee the daily resolution of blocked orders, ensuring that decisions are made promptly, documented accurately, and escalated as needed.
Responsibilities (2 Of 2)
Credit Risk Management
  • Support customer master data management activities (e.g. account activation/deactivation)
  • Identify process risks and recommend controls or improvements to strengthen credit risk governance.
  • Collaborates with Sales, Customer Operations, and Finance teams to ensure credit strategies support business growth while maintaining risk discipline
Reporting Analytics
  • Own the creation and delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful credit risk reports and dashboards, using platforms such as SAP, SAC, Celonis, and Excel‑based tools.
  • Perform in‑depth analyses of credit exposures, customer trends, and macro‑level risk factors to inform decision‑making.
  • Partner with data and systems teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of credit reporting across platforms and geographies.
  • Translate analytics into actionable business insights and policy recommendations.
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests from senior leadership and provide scenario‑based modeling to assess risk impacts.
  • Continuously enhance credit reporting tools and processes to improve visibility, scalability, and usability across stakeholders.
Required Qualifications

  • Experience with predictive analytics, risk modeling, and forecasting.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Project Management experience.
