Job summary

CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. is seeking a risk policy professional to design, implement, and monitor credit risk guidelines across the lifecycle, ensuring profitability and regulatory compliance while aligning with the bank's risk appetite.

You will analyze data, collaborate with product, IT, operations, and customer care to refine policies, translate them into system specs, conduct testing, and report on portfolio performance to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum of two years of experience in risk management or policy design, preferably in cards/loans.
• Working experience in data analytics tools: SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficient in Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to extract data and transform it into supporting information for risk policy decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate risk factors, quantify likelihood and severity.
• Collaborate with Product, Channel, IT, Operations, Customer Care, and Collections to align policies with risk appetite.
• Develop and refine credit risk policies across the lifecycle to balance growth and losses.
• Translate policies into clear system specifications and configure related parameters.
• Prepare, execute and document test plans (UAT, regression) to ensure changes meet requirements.
• Generate risk monitoring reports and propose actions to improve portfolio performance.
