Job summary

Citi in Taguig, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst (AVP) to deliver high-quality credit analysis and underwriting support for U.S. commercial clients.

Based in Citi Plaza, you will interact with senior credit professionals across the United States and support end-to-end credit decisions. You will analyze financial statements and cash flows, prepare credit memos, monitor risk, and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in credit analysis or risk management within commercial or corporate lending.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, assess cash flows, and apply credit fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools; familiarity with credit risk policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess end-to-end credit transactions including new facilities, amendments, and annual reviews.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, cash flow assessments, and industry research to evaluate borrower creditworthiness.
• Prepare and maintain credit memos and documentation aligned with global standards and internal policy.
• Monitor borrower performance, covenant compliance, and portfolio exposure; escalate risks.
• Coordinate with Credit Officers, Relationship Managers, and Risk functions to support lending and reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements in the credit workflow to enhance efficiency and control.
