Assistant Vice President, Credit Risk Senior Analyst - Hybrid

Based in Citi Plaza, Taguig City, Philippines, you will join the Commercial Lending Management team to facilitate the underwriting, monitoring, and periodic review of credit portfolios for the North American Commercial Credit Bank (CCB). The role supports a material amount of credit risk across a range of lending products, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the end‑to‑end annual review and portfolio management process for assigned relationships and portfolio.
• Rapidly develop knowledge of the assigned portfolio and industry, creating well‑supported analysis that balances risk and business objectives.
• Ensure appropriate regulatory classification and work to minimize net credit losses, identifying emerging concerns for escalation.
• Produce underlying analysis and workflow supporting underwriting requests for new‑to‑bank and existing credit relationships, including pre‑screening, amendments, extensions, and other credit requests.
• Prepare monthly and/or quarterly financial memo reviews of existing borrowers to track compliance with loan covenants, raising concerns and taking necessary actions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain an extensive knowledge of the various credit products and services offered to CCB clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit underwriting, portfolio and/or risk management with a multinational financial services organization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting and financial concepts and their practical application in the credit underwriting process.
• Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation and listening) and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated learning agility: seeks out resources and experience to continuously build knowledge/skills and promptly applies learning to new situations.
• Highly proficient in spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications, including strong data visualization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree(s) and other certifications considered but not required.
