Credit Review Officer

Job Summary

The Credit Review Officer evaluates the quality and management of the Bank's loan portfolio to ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. The role is responsible for conducting credit reviews, identifying potential credit risks, recommending process improvements, and providing management with timely and accurate reports to strengthen the Bank's overall credit risk framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of business units loan portfolios to assess credit quality, policy compliance, and adequacy of loan loss provisions.
• Identify credit risk exposures and recommend strategies to strengthen risk controls and portfolio management.
• Prepare credit review reports and present findings to management and appropriate governance committees.
• Monitor and validate corrective actions arising from credit review findings.
• Evaluate adverse account classifications and recommend appropriate loan loss reserves based on regulatory requirements.
• Conduct credit risk-related training and provide guidance to lending personnel.
• Support the continuous enhancement of the Bank's Credit Risk Program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Business, Finance, or related course.
• At least 2 years of experience in credit-related functions such as credit risk, credit review, credit administration, account management, loans operations, or internal audit within a financial institution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and financial spreadsheets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
