Job summary

Wells Fargo PH is seeking a Credit Portfolio Associate to support credit performance analysis, risk mitigation, and collaboration within a leading financial services company.

During training you will work onsite at Five Neo, BGC, Taguig, with a planned transition to hybrid work. Night shifts aligned with U.S. business hours (9:00pm–6:00am) and weekend rest days are required, alongside strong MS Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience or equivalent via work/training/education.
• 6+ months of credit portfolio management, collateral management, monitoring and analysis, lending operations, or credit services operations (desired).
• Strong understanding of credit principles and lending processes.
• Excellent MS Excel skills; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory support on credit performance, risks, and alignment with risk appetite and policies.
• Review basic or tactical issues, credit policies, and complex reports to propose risk mitigation strategies to management.
• Take direction from supervisors while developing understanding of credit functions, tools, policies, and compliance.
• Collaborate with managers, colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal/external customers.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing support as an advisor on credit performance, potential or emerging risks, and business conformity with risk appetite, credit culture, and policies.
• Reviewing basic or tactical issues, credit policies or procedures, complex credit reports, and findings to recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies to management.
• Receiving direction from supervisors and exercising independent judgment while developing understanding of credit functions, analytical tools, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
• Collaborating and consulting with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal or external customers.

About You

The company is looking for candidates with:

• 6+ months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 6+ months of experience in credit portfolio management, collateral management, collateral monitoring and analysis, lending operations, or credit services operations (desired).
• Strong understanding of credit principles and lending processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex processes, explain decisions, and confidently engage with business partners and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of financial statements and their analysis.
• Solid understanding of the securities market.
• Bachelor's degree in commerce, economics, or a related discipline preferred.
• Amenable to working a fixed night shift aligned with U.S. business hours (9:00pm to 6:00am).
• Amenable to having weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as regular rest days.
• Amenable to observing the U.S. holiday calendar.
• Willing to work full onsite at Five Neo, BGC during training.
• Amenable to transitioning to a hybrid work arrangement after training.
• Willing to be based at Five Neo, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
