Eight Under Par (Pawnshop Operator), Inc. is seeking a qualified professional for Credit Investigation and Real Property Appraisal. The role involves validating borrowers’ residence, business activity and community involvement, plus performing collateral valuations and on-site appraisals.

You will ensure accuracy of documents, compliance with policies, and timely turnaround of CI and appraisal reports, while gathering valuations from banks and other sources to support credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; preferred license in Real Property Appraisal.
• At least 1 year experience in credit investigation and real property appraisal in a financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Validate borrowers’ residence, business activity, and community involvement.
• Value collateral using peer comparisons, government valuations, and recent sales against market offers.
• Evaluate collateral for description accuracy and plot measurements.
• Verify authenticity of collateral documents with back tracing as needed.
• Ensure CI/Appraisal reports are completed within the agreed timeframe.
• Comply with company credit investigation, property appraisal, and credit policies.
• Conduct on-site validation of loan application details (residence, business, community ties).
• Conduct on-site appraisal of real estate and chattel collateral.
• Review and validate reports by outsourced appraisers when applicable.
• Gather property valuations from banks or other sources for reference.
• Verify Tax Declarations and perform title trace with Registry of Deeds.
