Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a risk/credit insurance specialist to support rapid business expansion by handling daily credit insurance applications, monitoring coverage, and managing claims.

You will liaise with insurers such as Sinosure, Coface, or Atradius, collect documents, track approvals, and maintain the credit insurance ledger to ensure data integrity.

The role requires a college diploma, 1–3 years of related experience, and strong Excel and English skills.

Qualifications

• College diploma or higher is required.
• 1–3 years of experience as Risk controller, AR specialist, or Finance Business Partner.
• 1–3 years experience in credit insurance.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Bachelor degree in Insurance, Finance, International Trade, Financial Management, or Accounting is preferred.
• Experience with Sinosure, Coface, or Atradius is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate between external agencies and internal units.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize basic qualification documents for new customers (business licenses, financial statements, bank statements).
• Complete credit limit applications and insurance declarations for new customers on online systems.
• Track approval progress with insurance institutions and provide feedback to Sales and Finance.
• Monitor credit limit utilization and calculate the Insurance Coverage Ratio.
• Issue warnings when limits are exhausted or coverage ratio is high and assist in obtaining more limits.
• Manage daily system operations including declarations, endorsements, and renewals for all customers.
• Assist in handling credit insurance claims from gathering materials to payment receipt.
• Maintain the credit insurance ledger for data consistency.
• Act as liaison between the company and external credit insurance institutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to address inquiries on limits and policies.

About the role

To provide robust credit insurance support for the company's business expansion. By efficiently handling daily customer credit insurance applications, monitoring insurance coverage rates, and managing the claims process, this role aims to effectively control accounts receivable risks, safeguard the company's capital security, and ensure smooth and secure transactions with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and organize basic qualification documents for new customers, such as business licenses, financial statements, and bank statements.
• Accurately and promptly complete credit limit applications and insurance declarations for new customers on online systems or designated platforms of credit insurance institutions (e.g., Sinosure, Coface, Atradius).
• Track the approval progress of insurance institutions and provide timely feedback to the Sales and Finance departments.
• Regularly monitor the credit limit utilization of existing customers and calculate/track the "Insurance Coverage Ratio".
• Issue timely warnings when customer limits are about to be exhausted or the coverage ratio exceeds the warning line, and assist business teams in applying for additional limits.
• Manage daily system operations including declarations, endorsements, and renewals for all the customers.
• Assist in handling credit insurance claims, including gathering claim materials, filling out claim forms, communicating with insurers, and following up until claim payment is received.
• Maintain and update the credit insurance ledger to ensure data consistency.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and external credit insurance institutions, maintaining excellent working relationships.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Legal) to address inquiries regarding customer credit limits and insurance policies.

About you

• College diploma or above
• 1-3 years experience as Risk controller/AR specialist/Finance Business Partner
• 1-3 years experience in credit insurance
• English language proficiency
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (must be skilled in VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data analysis)
• Bachelor degree, major in Insurance, Finance, International Trade, Financial Management, or Accounting is preferred
• Prior experience dealing with Sinosure, Coface, or Atradius is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate between external agencies and internal business units
