About the role
The Credit Control Supervisor serves as the company's functional lead for credit risk and accounts receivable management, responsible for driving collection effectiveness, optimizing working capital, and safeguarding company assets. The role leads the assessment of customer credit exposure, monitors receivable performance, and determines appropriate escalation actions for high-risk and delinquent accounts. Through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration, the incumbent supports informed credit decisions, strengthens collection outcomes, and ensures compliance with corporate governance, credit policies, and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
Assess customer creditworthiness and manage credit exposure through regular review of credit limits, payment terms, collateral requirements, and risk profiles.
Proactively identify potential credit risks and implement preventive actions to protect company assets and minimize bad debt.
Drive collection performance and ensuring accounts receivable aging remains within established targets to optimize cash flow and working capital.
Lead collection reviews with business stakeholders and oversee timely resolution of overdue accounts.
Evaluate delinquent and high-risk accounts and determine appropriate escalation actions, including credit hold, demand letter issuance, legal endorsement, provisioning, and write-off recommendations.
Ensure collection and recovery actions are supported by financial analysis, risk assessment, and company policies.
Analyze collection trends, customer payment behavior, and credit risk exposure to support data-driven decision-making.
Prepare and present accounts receivable performance reports, cash collection forecasts, and credit risk insights to management.
Monitor distributor credit exposure, collateral compliance, and incentive program administration.
Partner with Sales and business teams to balance commercial growth objectives with prudent credit risk management.
About you
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 Years solid experience in handling Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Management.
Demonstrated experience in credit risk assessment, collections management, and recovery processes.
Experience managing distributor and key account portfolios is preferred.
