Job summary

RELX is seeking a Credit and Collections Specialist to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts and minimize credit risk across international accounts. You will manage debt collection activities, generate reports, and collaborate with sales and finance teams to meet KPIs in a hybrid work setup.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 1 year of credit & collections experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. Rotational shifts apply; accommodation available if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of Credit & Collections experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel (AutoSum, VLOOKUP, Pivot).
• Experience in a Shared Services environment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a rotational shift and hybrid setup.
• Experience handling international credit control and multiple currencies.

Responsibilities

• Debt Collection Telephone chasing of past and future debts on designated accounts; follow-up calls and collection plan dates.
• Debtor Reporting: produce aged debtors and onsite report across designated shows as scheduled and as needed.
• Communication: liaise with sales and finance teams; prepare and distribute Show Collection Plan to teams.
• ADHOC Duties: liaise with sales and finance teams; attend team pre- and post-show meetings; produce Show Collection Plan.
• Policy Compliance: ensure credit control policy procedures are adhered; ensure VOTs are supplied where necessary.
• System Knowledge: proficient in Excel and Word; Oracle user preferred.
