Job summary

OptiHR Business Solutions Inc. is seeking a hands-on Credit and Collection Supervisor to lead a team, strengthen collection performance, and reduce outstanding receivables in a fully onsite role in Parañaque.

The ideal candidate will evaluate creditworthiness, manage overdue accounts, negotiate payment arrangements, and implement process improvements to minimize credit risk while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
• 4–5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit management, or a related function.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments while managing receivables exposure.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Willing and able to work fully onsite in Sucat, Parañaque.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate credit applications and recommend appropriate credit limits.
• Manage customer accounts receivable and oversee collection activities.
• Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely follow-up and collection.
• Discuss payment options and negotiate repayment arrangements with customers.
• Prepare and analyze receivables, aging, and collection reports.
• Resolve billing and collection concerns with customers and internal teams.
• Lead, coach, and manage the performance of Credit and Collection personnel.
• Recommend and implement improvements that increase collection efficiency and reduce credit exposure.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and credit and collection procedures.
