Job summary

GoTyme is seeking a seasoned Credit Card Operations leader to own end-to-end credit card processes from issuance to settlements, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and scalable control. You will oversee reconciliations, chargebacks, billing, and vendor governance while driving data-driven improvements and operational excellence.

The role requires deep card operations experience, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to lead a high-performing team in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in card operations, including at least 3 years in credit card operations.
• Experience in banking or debit card operations.
• Strong understanding of card billing, revolving interest, installments, chargebacks, and scheme rules.
• Experience managing processors and vendors.
• Operational rigor & controls mindset; documentation discipline.
• Analytical problem-solving; uses data to identify operational failure modes.
• Experience leading and coaching operations teams; customer-centric.
• Eligible to work in the Philippines.
• Knowledge of BSP regulations, AMLA, Data Privacy Act, and PCI DSS fundamentals is a plus.
• Stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, Compliance, external partners is a plus.
• Experience working directly with senior stakeholders such as Visa, regulators, or executive leadership is a plus.
• Resilience & ownership; comfortable with on-call rotations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end credit card operational processes including issuance, activation, limit maintenance, billing, interest, payments, blocks.
• Oversee daily reconciliations across authorization, clearing, billing, GL, and settlement.
• Ensure zero aged recon breaks and accurate GL postings.
• Manage chargebacks & disputes per scheme timelines and policies.
• Monitor billing accuracy and refund processing.
• Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, AMLA, Data Privacy Act, AFASA, PCI DSS, and scheme rules.
• Drive improvements in authorization approval rates and minimize declines.
• Lead vendor governance with SLA monitoring and reviews.
• Billing, Collections & Portfolio Controls: oversee billing cycle integrity and due date management.
• Support collections operations and data integrity.
• Monitor delinquency-related operational risks and tagging/reporting.
• Operational Excellence & Automation: identify automation opportunities; reduce manual interventions.
• Define operational KPIs and dashboards.
• Lead root-cause investigations and fixes.
• Stakeholder & Scheme Governance: Visa governance, incident management, attestations, scheme reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports covering portfolio health, incidents, finances, regulatory updates.
• Partner with Product/Business, Engineering, Risk, Finance, Compliance, and Customer Experience.
• People & Ways of Working: build and lead a high-performing credit card ops team; set standards; SOP documentation.
