East West Banking Corporation is seeking Credit Officers for its Consumer Lending team in the National Capital Region, covering Taguig and Makati. You will verify, underwrite loans, perform credit analysis, and make informed recommendations within established authority levels.

You will analyze risk, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with teams to safeguard business objectives in a hybrid work environment with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in credit underwriting or analysis.
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending products (auto, mortgage, personal loans, credit cards).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and decide on loan applications within authority levels and service standards.
• Meet loan approval volumes to achieve targets.
• Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for consumer lending products.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the approving authority and policies.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and risk management.
