Job summary

OwnBank in the Philippines seeks an experienced analyst to support the Chief Credit Officer in portfolio‑wise management of commercial and corporate loans. The role ensures accurate recording of data and the generation of loan portfolio reports, including stress tests and policy reviews.

The candidate will document approved facilities, monitor post‑loan results, and prepare periodic summaries for regulators and auditors. Fluent English is essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Portfolio Analysis, Credit Analyst, Risk Management, or related experience in commercial banks.
• Solid hands-on experience in corporate / commercial lending is mandatory.
• Working experience in foreign banks is highly preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.
• Mandarin speaking is preferred.

Job Purpose

This position is generally responsible for assisting the Chief Credit Officer, on portfolio wise managing the commercial/corporate loans. The role ensures to properly record and update all the required data for the commercial/corporate loans and generate related loan portfolio reports.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Document for all the approved credit facilities for commercial and corporate loans.
• 2. Coordinate the post loan monitoring and summarize the checking results for commercial and corporate loans, tracking the follow ups based on the checking results.
• 3. Prepare the periodical commercial and corporate loan portfolio summary reports and stress testing report.
• 4. Coordinate the Credit Policy review.
• 5. Prepare all other reports for corporate and commercial loans upon internal/external auditors’ or regulators’ requirements.
• 6. Other related tasks assigned by Chief Credit Officer.

Qualifications:

1.Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or related fields.

2.Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Portfolio Analysis, Credit Analyst, Risk Management, or related experience in commercial banks.
• Solid hands-on experience in corporate / commercial lending is mandatory.
• Working experience in foreign banks is highly preferred.

3. Professional Knowledge & Skills

• Sound analytical skill, experience on loan portfolio analysis and stress testing is preferred.
• Familiar with corporate credit products, loan structures, security packages and credit approval process.
• Familiar with local financial regulations, collateral registration rules and banking compliance requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and core banking systems.
• High attention to detail, strong accountability and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

4.Language

• Fluent in written and spoken English is essential.
• Mandarin speaking is preferred.
