Job summary

Taiwan Kitchen & Noodles is seeking an experienced accounting professional in Metro Manila to manage VAT, ITR, and withholding tax filings. In this role you will coordinate with external CPAs, supervise finance staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting and internal controls.

The position emphasizes timely month-end closings, compliance with Philippine tax regulations, and collaboration across branches or outlets in a restaurant/retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Philippine VAT, ITR, Withholding Tax, and BIR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle and review VAT, ITR, and Withholding Tax filings.
• Coordinate and follow up on BIR matters, LOA, tax audits, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with external CPAs/accounting firms and ensure timely submission of required documents.
• Supervise and manage accounting/finance staff.
• Review accounting records, reconciliations, financial reports, and tax documents.
• Improve existing accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
• Support month-end closing and management financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with external CPAs/accounting firms and ensure timely submission of required documents

• Supervise and manage accounting/finance staff

• Review accounting records, reconciliations, financial reports, and tax documents

About you

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience; 3–5 years preferred

• Strong hands‑on experience with Philippine VAT, ITR, Withholding Tax, and BIR compliance

• Experience with BIR LOA / tax audit is highly preferred

• Experience working directly with external accounting firms or CPAs

• Previous supervisory or team management experience is preferred

• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting and tax regulations

• Experience in multi-branch, restaurant, retail, or food service operations is an advantage

• CPA license is an advantage but not required

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills

• Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
