RCX RECRUITMENT INC. in Makati is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team, oversee daily operations, and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting to the Japan HQ.

The role requires a CPA with 5-8 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity, and hands-on exposure to import/export, cross-border transactions, and intercompany activities. Compliance with local regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA qualification required.
• 5-8 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Practical work experience in a trading/import-export company or a Japanese-affiliated company.
• Direct hands-on experience in import operations, commission (brokerage) transactions, international remittances, and cross-border transactions.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise the Accounting team with workload allocation and deadlines.
• Review and approve invoices, journal vouchers, payments, TT, and reconciliations.
• Oversee monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS and BIR regulations including VAT and withholding taxes.
• Manage import and trade accounting, including landed cost and customs documentation.
• Handle intercompany transactions and head-office reporting for Japan HQ.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors during audits.
