Real Life Sciences Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Finance, Accounting & Compliance Lead to oversee Philippine accounting operations and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Must be a Philippine Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, taxation, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with BIR compliance and tax filings.
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing financial statements.
• Experience handling SEC, BOI, and other government regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors or accounting service providers.
• Experience reviewing accounting work and providing guidance to other accounting staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare and/or review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Review bank reconciliations, accounts payable, billing, payroll entries, and expenses.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee tax requirements including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and documentary stamp tax.
• Maintain BIR books of accounts and monitor regulatory changes.
• Manage BOI, SEC, NPC registrations and other filings; coordinate with regulators.
• Provide guidance to the Finance and Accounting Associate and oversee outsourcing as needed.
• Lead CAS implementation, data migration, testing, and process improvements.
