Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an entry-level Accountant for our BGC office in Manila. You will participate in month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, with exposure to SAP, QuickBooks, and Xero. Fresh grads with a CPA license are welcome, and a hybrid work setup is available after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy required.
• CPA license required.
• Report to BGC office and undergo intensive entry-level training.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• MS Excel basic to intermediate proficiency; exposure to accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) a plus.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and accruals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and GL analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and routine compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during annual audits.
• Support product costing, variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs), and gross margin reporting.
• Monitor and analyze inventory movements, stock counts, and valuation adjustments.
• Assist in tracking direct labor, overhead allocations, and operational spending.
• Help evaluate cost drivers to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
