Job summary

Eclaro Business Solutions, Inc in Metro Manila is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in Taguig. You will assist with month-end and year-end closings, prepare journal entries, and manage accruals while supporting the preparation of financial statements and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and bank statements, coordinating with internal and external auditors, analyzing cost data and margins, tracking inventories and labor and overhead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; fresh graduates welcome.
• CPA license required.
• Must report to our BGC office and be willing to undergo onboarding.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal English communications.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing journal entries and accruals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and general ledger analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and routine compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during annual audits.
• Support product costing, variance analysis (standard vs actual costs), and gross margin reporting.
• Monitor and analyze inventory movements, physical stock counts, and valuation adjustments.
• Assist in tracking direct labor, overhead allocations, and operating spending.
• Help evaluate cost drivers to identify potential cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
