Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a General Accountant to ensure tax compliance, oversee management and external financial reporting, and execute general accounting processes for its Philippine operations.

The role emphasizes proficiency in tax regulations, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis to support strategic goals. CPA preferred with 2–3 years of relevant experience, including handling tax audits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in general accounting, with tax audits familiarity.
• CPA qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; Oracle ERP knowledge is a plus.
• Highly analytical and well organized with strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile quarterly and annual tax submissions for Philippines markets.
• Lead monthly and yearly closing activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct fluctuation analysis to identify financial trends and variances and present insights to management.
• Assist in annual financial audits and liaise with auditors.
• Oversee daily accounting transactions and manage manual payments.
