Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a General Accountant to handle tax compliance, financial reporting, and variance analysis for operations in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy (CPA preferred) with 2–3 years in general accounting, strong knowledge of Philippine tax rules, and advanced Excel; Oracle ERP is a plus.

You will lead monthly closings, budgeting and forecasting, audits support, and ensure robust internal controls across finance functions.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in general accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in English; highly analytical and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Tax Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and timely submissions for the Philippines.
• Management and External Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and lead monthly/yearly closings with variance analysis.
• General Accounting: Oversee daily transactions and maintain internal controls.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate annual budget and perform monthly forecasts.
• Audit and Compliance Support: Assist financial and tax audits and address audit findings.
• Other Responsibilities: Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
