Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking an Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines to maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, and deliver end-to-end financial reporting. You will support month-end and year-end close, ensuring compliance with PFRS and BIR while collaborating with the Finance Department to strengthen internal controls.

The role requires a CPA with at least 2 years of accounting experience, proficiency in ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and a licensed CPA.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Proficient in accounting software/ERP and MS Excel.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and perform timely account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies before close.
• Prepare end-to-end financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, journal entries, and audits to strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Procurement to ensure accurate journal entries.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and audit requests as needed.
