The ideal candidate has a CPA, a strong accounting background, and the ability to work independently. Key duties include monthly, quarterly reporting, payroll processing, budgeting, and ensuring timely government remittances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance or related field.
• CPA certification required or in active process.
• 3+ years of general accounting experience preferred in construction/engineering.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and payroll.
• Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Manage payroll processing, earnings records, and government remittances.
• Oversee budgeting, cost monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Review invoices, billings, and payment requests for accuracy.
• Maintain cash flow and fund management, including petty cash.
• Ensure tax compliance and adherence to deadlines and audits.
• Monitor fixed assets, tools, and inventory records.
• Prepare reports for Bookkeeper and external auditors.
• Implement and enforce financial policies and internal controls.
