Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking a Cost Analyst to lead product costing and production cost analysis. The role focuses on monitoring all material, labor, and overhead costs and delivering accurate costing data.

You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments to drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives, supervise the costing team, and ensure timely costing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Experience costing, cost accounting, manufacturing, or financial analysis.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing and analyzing product costing and production costs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage deadlines with multiple departments

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze product and production costing
• Monitor and evaluate material, labor, and overhead costs
• Review costing data and identify variances or discrepancies
• Prepare costing reports and provide analysis to management
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Finance, and other departments
• Monitor changes in material prices and production costs
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
• Recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Supervise and guide the costing team
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of costing reports and related documents
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
