Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience in cost accounting, costing analysis, or financial supervision.
• Understanding of standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and prepare clear financial reports.
• Strong leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Good communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily costing activities and ensure accurate cost data collection and reporting.
• Review standard costs, actual costs, and variance analyses for products or services.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and finance teams to validate cost inputs.
• Monitor inventory costing, overhead allocation, and labor cost calculations.
• Prepare regular cost reports and present findings to management.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing and inventory.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain costing models, procedures, and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and pricing analysis.
• Train and guide team members on costing policies and best practices.
