Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage day‑to‑day cost accounting activities for selected clusters and categories in a manufacturing environment. You will forecast costs, analyze variances, and assist management in budget decisions under APAC PS Finance leadership.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, SAP costing skills, and strong Excel capabilities. Onsite work with possible remote day after onboarding, and a focus on accuracy and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any business course (preferably BS Accountancy or Management Accounting).
• 1–2 years of work experience in cost accounting, manufacturing, or finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Standard cost policy & processes.
• Perform cost run for new SKU codes and re-roll of standards with 100% accuracy; maintain costing data in SAP.
• Maintain inter‑co data in SAP including delivery cost and mark up; resolve price discrepancies in inter‑company invoices.
• Support 3rd party manufacturers cost cards maintenance and price variances reconciliation.
• Perform timely month‑end closing and COGS & DP reconciliation through month‑end reporting.
• Annual Budget and monthly S&OP Forecast of cost of sales with detailed components.
• Review monthly actual Cost of Sales variances with business partners.
• Define and document regional cost accounting procedures and drive process improvements.
• Perform SOAR controls and ensure compliance to cost internal controls; prepare audit documentation.
