Job summary

Stelsen Integrated Systems Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to analyze project and operational costs, monitor budgets, and provide insights to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

You will analyze actual costs versus budgeted costs, prepare cost reports and forecasts, monitor materials and labor, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain accurate costing data while coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sales and Project Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of cost analysis, accounting, budgeting, estimating, or related functions.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain financial data to non-financial teams.
• Experience in construction, engineering, systems integration, manufacturing, or project-based companies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze actual costs versus budgeted/estimated costs and investigate variances.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis.
• Monitor project costs, material, labor, procurement, and other expenses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate costing data, reports, and dashboards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Project Management to ensure accurate cost information.
• Assist in monitoring project profitability and target margins.
