Job summary

Aboitiz Renewables, Inc. in Makati is seeking a Cost Controllership and Financial Governance Supervisor to lead finance governance, policy enforcement, and audit readiness. The role collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to improve controls and compliance, supporting sustainable energy initiatives.

The candidate will drive policy development, process standardization, and governance analytics while mentoring teams in a purpose-driven environment within the AboitizPower group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Internal Audit.
• 5–7 years of solid experience in financial control or governance, business process mapping, internal controls, risk management, or process improvement.
• Management experience or at least 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Professional certification (CPA, CIA, or CFE) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Policy & Governance Standards: Map and standardize Finance policies and authority limits to mitigate operational risks.
• Process Walkthroughs & Leakage Mitigation: Lead walkthroughs to identify gaps and standardize protocols to reduce leakage.
• Compliance Deep-Dives & Analytics: Conduct reviews to ensure policy compliance and use analytics to spot control concerns or irregular spending.
• Monitoring & Safeguards: Track compliance rates across units and recommend corrective actions.
• Audit Readiness & Point of Contact: Serve as lead contact for auditors on Finance controls and remediation.
• Governance Analytics: Prepare governance analytics for leaders highlighting compliance and risk.
• Policy Communication & Training: Write clear guidelines, communicate updates, and train staff.
• Benchmarking & Tool Enhancements: Benchmark policies against best practices and suggest improvements.
