Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Cost Controllership and Financial Governance Supervisor in Metro Manila. This role leads Finance governance, policy enforcement, compliance monitoring, and audit readiness across the organization, demanding strong policy-writing and risk assessment skills to influence stakeholders.

You'll translate complex control frameworks into clear guidelines, conduct policy reviews, and coordinate with auditors and leaders to strengthen financial controls and prevent leakage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Internal Audit.
• CPA/CIA/CFE certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in financial control or governance, process mapping, internal controls, or risk management.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance governance, policy enforcement, compliance monitoring and audit readiness across the organization.
• Draft and standardize Finance policies and authority limits to arrest operational risks.
• Identify gaps in workflows and develop standardized protocols to mitigate financial leakage.
• Monitor compliance rates and policy adoption; report deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Serve as main contact for internal and external auditors regarding Finance controls and remediation.
• Prepare governance analytics for senior leadership highlighting compliance and risk.
• Translate complex control frameworks into clear corporate guidelines and conduct training on policy updates.
• Benchmark policies against industry best practices and recommend monitoring improvements.
