Responsibilities

• Costing: update costs, profitability analysis, and cost reporting for new and existing products.
• Report on internal transactions and support documentation of procedures for operations.
• Provide cost reduction insights and costing support to R&D, SBUs, and Product Data.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as required.

Cost Associate (WFH, G.Y., 4-Month Project)

Job Description

• Product Costing:
  • Participate in annual cost updates: including material, labor, overhead, freight and duty
  • Roll and update costs
  • Create product profitability analysis
  • Provide cost impacts for Part Change Notices
  • Prepare cost reports for new, proposed, and existing products
  • Support Operations in Continuous Improvement Projects
• Culminate and report on internal transactions:
  • Process and Procedures
  • Support documentation of procedures for operations ensuring data accuracy
  • Partner with operations team to improve policies and procedures
• Financial Analysis:
  • Provide insight into cost reduction through identification of cost drivers and substitutions
  • Provide costing support, training, and guidance to R&D, SBUs, and Product Data
  • Management group as required
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required
