Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Cost Accounting Supervisor to oversee landed costs, warehousing expenses, and logistics-related handling costs.

You will work to ensure accurate inventory valuation, cost allocation, margin analysis, and financial reporting for imported and purchased goods. Collaborating with Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams, you will drive cost visibility and profitability improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles
• Experience in costing roles
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools

Responsibilities:

• Managing and controlling product landed costs, warehousing expenses, and logistics-related handling costs.
• Ensures accurate inventory valuation, cost allocation,margin analysis, and financial reporting related to imported and purchased goods.
• Works closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams to improve cost visibility and optimize profitability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Knowledgeable in Cost Accounting Principle
• Proven experience in Costing role
• Experience with Accounting software and ERP System
• Proficient with Microsoft office and financial analysis tool
