Job summary

Philippine Iino Corporation is seeking a Cost Accounting Supervisor to manage inventory reporting, cost analysis, and budgeting oversight. The role ensures accurate inventory balances and reviews costing data to explain variances to management.

You will coordinate BOM preparation with IE Group, supervise annual counts of leased assets, and produce monthly financial closes while maintaining strict deadlines and confidentiality. Onsite work at Mactan Economic Zone 2 is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA is a plus.
• Cost accounting or financial analysis experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of GAAP and Cost Accounting Standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel skills essential.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure with multi-tasking and tight deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for aCost Accounting Supervisorwho will play a key role in managing inventory reporting, product costing, and cost analysis. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory balances, review product costing, and analysis of costing information and report on variances and their causes to management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the reporting of correct inventory balances in coordination with production in-charge

• Over-all In-charge of the physical inventory counts, investigates count variances and resolve issues

• Review product costing and coordinate in the preparation of the Bill of Materials with IE Group

• Mainly in-charge of the annual count and verification existing leased assets database against actual leased machines

• Prepare monthly financial reports and closing requirements

• Analyze actual results versus forecasts and prior periods, providing variance explanations

• Observe and implements company policies, procedures, and programs

• Performs other related functions whenever necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA is plus

• Background in cost accounting or financial analysis in a manufacturing environment is an advantage

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; and preferably Cost Accounting Standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Experience using ERP systems is an advantage

• Capable of working effectively in urgent situations and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and astute problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Team-oriented and able to work well with other people with strong follow up and prioritization skills

• Works with no or little direct supervision and can work within tight deadlines and confidential information

• Must be willing to work onsite at Mactan Economic Zone 2, Basak, Lapu-Lapu City
