Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage inventory accounting functions and supervise the Quantity Accuracy Program (QAP). You will conduct quarterly reviews, verify on-hold inventories, and support cost accounting improvements while ensuring accuracy and compliance within Philippine practices.

The role requires at least 1 year in inventory, strong analytical skills, and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• 1+ year of relevant inventory experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills across organization levels.
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Takes initiative to implement improvements.
• Ability to cooperate and collaborate with colleagues.
• Working knowledge of Philippine local finance and accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs quarterly R&D lot reviews.
• Performs quarterly random verification of on-hold lots or inventories for proper disposition.
• Responsible for the monthly Wafer Bank Foundry lots review.
• Conducts verification of monthly foundry credit status with engineering team.
• Performs monthly freight accrual.
• Reviews and approves Materials Inventory Scrap Review request in E-Forms.
• Monitors lot(s) with negative quantity(ies) and coordinates with Logistics for Oracle transactions.
• Prepares monthly BU Reclass for Inventory-related accounts.
• Prepares monthly tape & reel analysis.
• Prepares monthly RM consumption analysis.
• Supports and/or leads improvements related to cost accounting and inventory management.
• Supports and/or leads adhoc projects, and other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

What You Will Bring
