Job summary

Vertical Institute is Singapore's AI and technology training provider. As a Course Consultant, you will engage corporate clients, HR and L&D professionals to understand their organisation's training and workforce development needs and to advise on suitable courses.

You will manage the end-to-end sales cycle from outreach to enrolment, build long-term relationships, and identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling and scalable learning solutions for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or corporate sales.
• Experience engaging HR, L&D leaders and other decision-makers.
• Strong consultative selling and needs-analysis skills.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable outbound prospecting via calls, email, LinkedIn and networking.
• Commercially driven with ability to meet targets.
• Experience in corporate training, education, technology, SaaS or related industries is advantageous.
• Genuine interest in helping organisations develop workforce and digital skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage corporate clients and stakeholders to understand workforce development needs.
• Conduct needs analysis and discuss business priorities.
• Recommend courses based on client objectives and outcomes.
• Advise on training programmes and development pathways.
• Develop tailored learning proposals and presentations.
• Build long-term relationships and manage ongoing accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals.
• Maintain CRM records of interactions and opportunities.
• Work with delivery teams to align solutions with client requirements.
• Stay updated on courses and industry trends.
• Aim to achieve and exceed sales targets.
