Job summary

Vertical Institute is seeking an AI Trainer & Course Developer to join our in-house team in Singapore. You will deliver practical AI training to individuals and corporate clients and own end-to-end development of new AI courses and curricula.

The role combines hands-on delivery with curriculum design and continuous improvement. You will translate emerging AI technologies into industry-relevant learning experiences, shape our training portfolio, and stay aligned with learner and client needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).
• Strong practical knowledge and understanding of AI and its applications, including Generative AI and AI productivity tools.
• Experience in AI, technology, training, education, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience delivering training, workshops, classes, or professional learning programs.
• Experience developing courses, curricula, training programs, lesson plans, learning materials, or assessments.

We are looking for an AI Trainer & Course Developer to join our in-house team in Singapore. This role combines hands-on training delivery with end-to-end course and curriculum development. You will deliver AI training to individual learners and corporate clients, while also designing, developing, and taking ownership of new AI courses and training programs.

You will play an important role in ensuring our AI training offerings remain relevant to industry developments, emerging AI technologies, and the evolving needs of our learners and corporate clients.

What you will own

Training delivery

• Conduct training sessions for individual learners and corporate clients.

• Deliver clear, practical, and engaging AI training aligned with the objectives of each program.

• Explain AI concepts, tools, and applications in a way that is accessible and relevant to learners with different levels of technical knowledge.

• Adapt training approaches based on the needs of different learner groups and corporate clients.

• Facilitate practical exercises, demonstrations, discussions, and real-world use cases where appropriate.

• Ensure training content and delivery remain relevant, practical, and aligned with learner and client needs.

Course & curriculum development

• Build, develop, and take ownership of new AI courses, curricula, and training programs.

• Define learning objectives, course structures, lesson plans, practical activities, and supporting materials.

• Develop programs for both individual learners and corporate clients.

• Create, maintain, and continuously improve training content, presentation materials, exercises, assessments, and other learning resources.

• Translate emerging AI technologies and workplace use cases into practical, outcome-focused learning experiences.

• Identify opportunities to develop new AI training offerings based on industry developments, emerging technologies, learner demand, and client needs.

• Review and improve existing AI courses and programs based on learner feedback, industry developments, and training outcomes.

• Collaborate with the wider team to develop programs that meet learner and corporate client requirements.

What we look for

We are looking for someone who can confidently deliver AI training while taking ownership of developing AI courses and programs.

Beyond that:

• Must hold an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).

• Strong practical knowledge and understanding of AI and its applications, including areas such as Generative AI, AI productivity tools, prompt engineering, automation, or other relevant AI applications.

• Experience in AI, technology, training, education, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience delivering training, workshops, classes, or professional learning programs.

• Experience developing courses, curricula, training programs, lesson plans, learning materials, or assessments.

• Strong ability to communicate AI concepts clearly and effectively to learners with different levels of technical knowledge.

• Comfortable working with both individual learners and corporate clients.

• Able to translate technical and emerging AI concepts into practical, industry-relevant learning experiences.

• Strong ownership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage both training delivery and course development.

• Willingness to continuously learn and keep up with developments in AI and emerging workplace applications.

• Experience delivering SSG-accredited courses or working within the Singapore training environment is an advantage.
