Anytime Fitness Superstars is seeking a People Development Specialist with a Corporate Trainer focus to lead and deliver learning and development programs across clubs and the organization.

Anytime Fitness Superstars is looking for a People Development Specialist with a strong Corporate Trainer function to lead and deliver learning and development programs across our clubs and organization.
This role will focus primarily on training delivery, employee development, competency building, performance improvement, and training module development. The ideal candidate is a confident facilitator who can translate company standards and business requirements into engaging, practical, and results-driven learning experiences.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate corporate training programs for employees across different clubs and departments.
Conduct engaging classroom, workshop, and virtual training sessions.
Deliver training on company standards, processes, customer service, sales, leadership, operations, and other role-specific competencies.
Adapt training approaches and delivery methods based on the needs and learning styles of participants.
Create an engaging learning environment that encourages participation, discussion, and practical application.
Travel to different clubs or locations as needed to conduct training programs.
Facilitate company orientation and onboarding programs for newly hired employees.
Introduce employees to the company’s culture, values, policies, standards, procedures, and performance expectations.
Ensure new employees receive the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively perform their roles.
Partner with managers and department heads to identify onboarding and training requirements.
Continuously improve orientation and onboarding programs based on feedback and performance results.
Assess the training and development needs of employees across the organization.
Identify knowledge, skill, competency, and performance gaps.
Conduct training needs assessments based on employee performance, business requirements, and management feedback.
Recommend appropriate training programs and development interventions to address identified gaps.
Work closely with club managers and leaders to identify recurring operational or performance issues that can be addressed through training.
Develop, update, and improve training modules, presentations, manuals, guides, activities, assessments, and other learning materials.
Design practical and engaging training content aligned with company standards, operational requirements, and business objectives.
Create facilitator guides and participant materials when necessary.
Ensure training materials are clear, accurate, relevant, and easy to apply in the workplace.
Continuously enhance training content based on participant feedback, assessment results, and observed performance gaps.
Support employee development by identifying areas requiring additional training, coaching, or reinforcement.
Collaborate with managers and club leaders in addressing employee performance and competency gaps.
Conduct follow-up coaching or refresher training when necessary.
Monitor the application of learned skills and behaviors in the workplace.
Provide recommendations to management regarding employee development opportunities.
Monitor training attendance, completion, participation, and assessment results.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, knowledge assessments, observations, and performance results.
Track whether employees are able to apply training concepts and skills in their actual roles.
Identify opportunities to improve training delivery, content, and learning outcomes.
Prepare training reports and provide management with relevant insights and recommendations.
Maintain accurate and organized training records, attendance sheets, assessment results, and employee development documentation.
Monitor completion of required training programs across clubs and departments.
Coordinate training schedules with club managers, department heads, and other stakeholders.
Prepare regular reports on training activities, participation, completion, and effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Corporate Trainer, Learning & Development Specialist, Training Specialist, HR Trainer, or similar role.
Strong experience in training facilitation and employee development.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Confident and engaging facilitator who can effectively handle different types of learners.
Proven ability to develop training modules, presentations, manuals, guides, assessments, and other learning materials.
Experience conducting training needs assessments and competency assessments is an advantage.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and practical workplace training.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple training programs and schedules simultaneously.
Comfortable conducting both in-person and virtual training sessions.
Willingness to travel to different branches or locations when required.
Experience in the fitness, retail, sales, hospitality, BPO, or service industry is an advantage.
