Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking a Corporate Strategy Manager to join our Strategic Finance Group in BGC, Taguig. You will evaluate corporate investments and M&A opportunities, lead strategic initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven recommendations to senior management and the Board.

We expect 5–10 years in strategy or banking, strong financial modeling and business-case development, and excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field mandatory.
• MBA or CFA preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or strategic planning in banking/financial services.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and business case development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive strategic analyses on key business questions for data-driven recommendations.
• Produce sectoral deep-dive reports covering industry structure, credit cycle, growth drivers, competitive landscape, and regulatory impacts for assigned sectors.
• Lead financial valuation, due diligence, and business case development for M&A, partnerships, or major capital projects.
• Oversee strategic initiatives as project lead or PMO coordinator, tracking milestones, KPIs, and deliverables.
