Job summary

Maybank is seeking a Securities Sales professional in the Philippines to conduct regular client calls, cross-sell bank offerings, and coordinate with core banking teams to identify opportunities. The role requires evaluating client suitability and staying compliant with market regulations.

Responsibilities include building a client data bank, monitoring maturities, and reporting on the sales pipeline to meet annual budgets.

Qualifications

• College graduate, preferably of business related courses.
• SEC Licensed Fixed Income Salesman.
• Treasury Certified Professional (Full Certification).

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular marketing calls to existing and prospective accounts and cross-sells bank products and services.
• Visits prospective and existing clients to promote financial instruments offered by the bank.
• Invests funds of Corporate and Institutional Accounts in pertinent instruments to meet liquidity needs.
• Coordinates with Client Coverage, Corporate Banking, and Financial Institutions to identify business opportunities.
• Conducts suitability assessment of clients to ensure products match risk tolerance and sophistication.
• Provides market feedback on client preferences and competitor rates.
• Identify business opportunities and suggest strategic direction to meet budgetary goals.
• Keeps informed of regulatory and compliance rules for dealing in financial markets.
• Prepares a data bank for clients: GM Sales products maturities, Schedule of Customer Calls, Pipeline Monthly Report.

Your Impact

• Conducts regular marketing calls to existing and prospective accounts; cross-sells other bank products and services through the following:
  • a. Visiting prospective and existing clients to promote financial instruments offered by the bank
  • b. Investing funds of Corporate and Institutional Accounts in pertinent financial instruments to meet liquidity requirements and other strategies set forth by the bank
  • c. Coordinating with key marketing groups such as Client Coverage, Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions in identifying business opportunities to the bank.
  • d. Conducting suitability assessment of clients to ensure products offered are in line with their tolerance and financial sophistication
• Provides market feedback with regards to client preferences and rates offered by competitors, numbers of clients and product mix
• Identify business opportunities and suggest strategic direction to meet budgetary goals
• Keeps informed of relevant regulatory and compliance rules for dealing in financial markets
• Prepares a data bank of all relevant information for clients such as:
  • a. List of GM Sales products maturities
  • b. Schedule of Customer Calls
  • c. Pipeline Monthly Report

Your Profile

• College graduate, preferably of business related courses
• Has 3-5 years Relevant Field Experience
• Must be a Securities and Exchange (SEC) Licensed Fixed Income Salesman
• Banker’s Association of the Philippines-ADMU Treasury Certified Professional (Full Certification)
