ELSAL Ventures OPC seeks an experienced legal professional to support land acquisition, real estate, corporate and business transactions. You will conduct due diligence, draft and review contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance to enable efficient, legally sound operations.

You will collaborate with internal teams, field personnel, consultants, and external counsel, address documentation gaps, manage risks, and help close transactions while maintaining high integrity and confidentiality.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management or Paralegal Studies; a law degree is an advantage.
• JD degree and a licensed attorney in the Philippines.
• At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in land acquisition.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct legal due diligence on land titles, ownership documents, and related records.
• Draft, review and assist in land acquisition, lease, easement, and corporate agreements.
• Monitor land documentation for regulatory compliance and financing needs.
• Coordinate with internal teams, field personnel, consultants, and landowners to close transactions.
• Support negotiations and develop compliant strategies for contract execution.
• Review corporate policies, governance documents, and internal procedures.

Provide legal and documentation support for the Company’s land acquisition, real estate, corporate, and general business transactions. Ensure proper due diligence, contract preparation, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management to support efficient and legally sound business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal due diligence on land titles, ownership documents, tax declarations, encumbrances, and related property records.
• Identify legal risks and documentation gaps and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Draft, review, and assist in the preparation of land acquisition, lease, easement, corporate, and other business agreements.
• Monitor land documentation and compliance with legal, regulatory, and financing requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, field personnel, consultants, external counsel, and landowners to complete documentation and facilitate transactions.
• Support land acquisition negotiations and help develop legally sound approaches to contract execution and closing.
• Assist in reviewing corporate policies, governance documents, and internal legal procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Paralegal Studies, or a related field; a law degree is an advantage.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a licensed attorney in the Philippines.
• At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in land acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine land laws, property registration, agrarian reform, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent legal research, document review, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.
