Job summary

The Paralegal at Aboitiz Group supports the Legal Team by ensuring corporate governance and regulatory compliance across assigned business units, while providing legal, administrative, and operational support. The role helps maintain accurate corporate records and contributes to efficient delivery of legal services.

Responsibilities include SEC and regulatory compliance, corporate secretarial activities, board meetings, legal research, document drafting, and coordinating with external counsel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a publicly listed company, law firm, or conglomerate.
• Knowledge of corporate governance, SEC regulations, and corporate housekeeping practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and document management skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Corporate Governance & Compliance: Support SEC and regulatory compliance, corporate secretarial activities, Board and Shareholders' meetings, and corporate housekeeping for assigned business units.
• Legal Support & Research: Conduct legal research, assist in drafting legal documents, support compliance initiatives, and coordinate with external counsel and regulatory agencies on legal and regulatory matters.
• Administrative & Operational Support: Manage legal records and documentation, coordinate meetings and events, prepare presentations and digital materials, and provide day-to-day administrative support to the Legal Team.
• Special Projects: Support strategic initiatives and special projects while assisting the team with additional legal and operational requirements as needed.
