Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking an Associate General Counsel to provide legal support to AP units and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work under the AVP Legal, VP Legal, and Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, shaping risk management and strategic counsel for the energy business.

You will lead legal and regulatory matters, collaborate with the Legal and Compliance team, and contribute to community impact and sustainable energy initiatives within a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.)
• Master of Laws (LL.M.) or Master in Business Administration (MBA) is an advantage
• At least three (3) years as a licensed legal professional (Bar qualification)

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support in all matters assigned by AVP Legal, VP Legal, or Chief Legal and Compliance Officer.
• Work with AP Units to ensure proper legal advice and protection from significant exposure.
• Manage legal and regulatory compliance for the business units.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance team to deliver results and support strategic initiatives.
