Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Corporate Finance Supervisor in Makati to provide transactional support to the Corporate Finance Manager and team, evaluating investment opportunities and preparing analyses to help senior management make strategic capital decisions.

You will work closely with ARI to deliver results, support financial policies, and develop your skills in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment that values community impact and sustainable energy.

Qualifications

• ,Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management or Accounting.
• Background in financial modeling.
• 5 years of relevant experience in Finance.
• Preferably with Investment experience.
• Preferably CPA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial models and valuations for investment opportunities.
• Advise business units on impact of issues on valuation and investment cases.
• Develop and implement ARI’s financial policies; gather data and materials.
• Maintain and enhance financial models and analyses to support ARI’s goals.
• Create presentation materials for board meetings and senior requests.

As Corporate Finance Supervisor, you will The position holder is responsible for providing transactional support to Corporate Finance Manager and Team in evaluating investment opportunities and other information needed to help business development teams and senior management make major operational, financial, decisions enabling it to achieve its strategic Capital Investment Decisions on new businesses and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with ARI to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Prepares and/or reviews financial models and/or business valuations that will be used in screening and evaluating investment opportunities for Aboitiz Renewables. This may entail gathering data, working with relevant internal personnel, and assisting external advisers in the preparation of financial models and business valuations.
• Assist immediate leader and the Corporate Finance Team in providing financial advisory services to various business units to determine the possible impact of relevant issues on valuation and investment cases. These include conducting research, challenging the validity of assumptions, evaluating the impact of deal structures and financing options, and preparing management reports and presentations.
• Assist immediate leader in developing and implementing ARI’s financial policies. Gathering of data, researching, and preparing the relevant materials.
• Supports in maintaining and enhancing financial models and analyses in support of ARI’s business goals.
• Supports immediate leader in creating presentation materials and decks for board meetings and other senior executive requests.

To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:

• Able to understand, identify and mitigate risks which can impact key financial indicators of the company which includes but not limited to revenue, profit, cost, debt-service coverage, internal rate of return, return on capital employed, etc.
• Able to understand importance of complying to government and regulatory requirements and practices and can apply appropriate laws and rules relevant to own function's transactions/engagements
• Able to create a financial planning reports based on assessment of current and potential future financial performance of the organization and use these information as basis for investment actions and recommendations
• Able to understand financial statements, use these to create and handle financial models and provide reports/analysis which serves as guide for decision-making

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management or Accounting
• Background in financial modeling
• 5 years of relevant experience in Finance
• Preferrably with Investment experience
• Preferably CPA
