AboitizPower is seeking an AVP Finance Transformation in Pasig City, Philippines. You will drive the evolution of the finance function through digitalization, automation, and process improvements, aligning short-term capabilities with long-term strategy.

The role requires extensive experience in complex financial systems, ERP implementations, and leading large-scale change programs across global teams. A CPA/PMP/Agile background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in complex corporate financial systems and ERP consolidations/implementations.
• Experience leading transformative organizational work across diverse global teams and driving change programs.
• Experience with Agile or Lean methods to drive large-scale finance transformations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, IT, or related field; Engineering considered.

As AVP Finance Transformation, you will drive the evolution and continuous innovation of the finance function and its operating model. It increases finances enterprise impact by strategically prioritizing and executing digitalization, automation, and process improvement initiatives that align short-term capabilities with long-term business strategy, and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with various teams to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

What You Will Need:

• Co-create a vision for continuous innovation Provide process change thought leadership, evaluating innovative finance technology solutions, and introducing Agile development practices.
• Ensure finance functional strategy perfectly aligns with the overall business strategy and long-term organizational goals.
• Execute finance transformation initiatives Prioritize strategic initiatives, document workflows, implement process improvements (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R, A2R), and establish OKRs.
• Modernize financial workflows, drive enterprise-wide efficiency, and track measurable transformation success.
• Lead finance operating model redesign Leverage new technologies and automation, and collaborate with the CFO to develop precise, measurable guidelines for organizational change.
• Ensure seamless integration across the finance function and maximize the efficiency enabled by new delivery models.
• Strengthen stakeholder partnerships & buy-in Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, preparing operational/technological insights for the EXECOM/MANCOM, and chartering a transformation steering committee.
• Secure necessary transformation investments, manage critical change leadership, and drive organizational accountability.
• Manage the Finance Transformation Portfolio Create a project roadmap, building a decision framework to pause/end projects, evaluating project sequencing, and identifying interdependencies.
• Mitigate systematically risks, optimize resource allocation, and balance project time horizons against functional needs.
• Drive coordinated Change Management
• Take a people-centered approach, delivering comprehensive training, and building capability awareness.
• Ensure smooth staff adoption of new technologies and foster an organizational culture of continuous process improvement.
• Acquire and Develop Digital Talents Perform expert resource assessments, hiring or internally sourcing digital talent, and setting clear performance goals.
• Build a high-performing, agile workforce capable of executing transformation objectives and adapting to redeployments.

Education & Experience:

• Professional Experience: 10 years (more) of experience in complex corporate financial systems, leading ERP consolidations/implementations, and managing technology/digital roadmaps.
• Leadership Experience: At least 5-8 successful years of leading transformative organizational work, managing diverse global teams, and directing change management initiatives.
• Project Experience: Extensive background utilizing Agile or Lean methodologies to drive large-scale, enterprise-wide finance transformations.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Engineering)
• License Required: CPA, PMP, or Agile Certifications are highly advantageous
