Job summary

Origo BPO is seeking a Copywriter to support the marketing team with compelling content across social media, YouTube, email, and more. You will collaborate with copywriters and designers, use Canva for social assets, assist with photo/video production, and help create direct-response content for demand generation.

Strong writing portfolio and content planning experience are required, with 1–3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma.
• Prior work experience in Content Writing is required
• Must have a writing portfolio
• Social media coordination and content planning experience is a plus
• Video production experience is a plus
• Must be willing to take on a writing exam before the interview
• Expertise in content writing, marketing copy, and direct response copy
• Experience with Office365 (MS Excel and Google Sheets)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Origo's Content Calendar
• Write long (blog posts, case studies) and short (social media etc.) content marketing / direct response copy.
• Partner with graphic designers to create visually appealing content that aligns with brand guidelines.
• Utilize Canva for creating or editing social media assets.
• Assist with photo/video production: Help with the production process, including formatting, proofreading, actual video production, preparing files for print or digital distribution, and setting up equipment for a shoot.
• Work with copywriters to create podcast scripts, internal videos, and other copywriting initiatives that will fuel our demand generation activities.
• Work closely with various departments, such as Talent Acquisition, Client Success etc., to deliver our internal partners' requests.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas and concepts.

Job description

The Copywriter will support the marketing team in crafting compelling and engaging content across social media, YouTube, email, and more. They will also collaborate with copywriters and graphic designers to produce direct response copy and demand-generation content. They may also be involved in minor graphic design tasks using tools like Canva to create social media posters. Lastly, the Copywriter will take on other ad hoc content production responsibilities.
