Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a field service engineer to install, maintain and service IET rotating equipment at customer sites. You will coordinate crews, ensure safety, quality and timely execution, and provide clear records to supervisors.

Strong instrumentation knowledge and hands-on problem solving are essential. The role requires 5–6 years of industry experience, expertise with MarkVIe/Opticom/Woodward, and the ability to travel locally and internationally, including offshore assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree preferred.
• 5-6 years of industry experience and IET product line training required.
• Specialized in Instrumentation and Control Panels.
• Knowledge in control systems such as MarkVIe, Woodward/Micronet, Opticom.
• Knowledge in products such as Aero LM2500 and LM6000 and Heavy Duty Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors.
• Knowledge in mapping DLE / tuning DLN for Turbine is a plus.
• Intermediate/advance English level.
• Able to travel locally and internationally.
• Able to work offshore.
• T BOSIET/THUET certificates are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees work at the field site, providing quality service to the customer
• May include sales, job design, execution, and follow-up activities
• Provides the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used
• Coordinates and directs the activities of service operators
• Coordinates the cleanup, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job
• Evaluates individual performance levels of the crew and trains operators to improve job performance
• Performs independently various Installation and/or Maintenance activities of IET rotating equipment in the field at customer sites
• Executes minor and major equipment maintenance by following IET Service Site Quality Checklists and procedures
• Serves as the primary contact to coordinate activities with the Customer Representative and Site Team when required
• Provides complete records of all activities performed at the customer site to the Baker Hughes IET Supervisor
• Promotes and maintains effective team relations
• Executes responsibilities safely by following all applicable IET Service processes and procedures
• Provides limited troubleshooting support for equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the field
