• Proficient in MS Office, ACAD, SPI and other essential engineering software tools.
• Experience providing technical training or knowledge sharing on control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering, or related field.

Role Description

This is a full-time Instrumentation & Control Systems Design Engineer role based in Alabang NCR. The I&C DE should be able to design, develop, and integrate field instrumentation into automation systems for infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing control system layouts, instrument I/O lists, index, logic diagrams, and technical specifications, as well as validating ICSS marshaling and interconnection wiring, with a strong understanding of interpreting P&IDs/PEFS.

The role involves closely collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams, vendors, and construction teams to resolve technical clarifications, as well as assisting the commissioning and start-up team.

Moreover, the I&C DE will participate in technical reviews, prepare specifications, narratives, and reports, and provide training to colleagues and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong design & engineering foundation in instrumentation & control systems, including experience industrial, power, mining or oil and gas projects.


• Proficiency with ICSS (i.e. SCADA/DCS, Fire & Gas & SIS) systems and related automation platforms, including configuration, and optimization. Also with basic telecom experience.


• Proficient in using MS Office, ACAD, SPI and other essential engineering software tools.


• Experience providing technical training or knowledge sharing on control systems.


• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.


• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards for control and safety systems in energy, LNG, or process industries.


• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional and multicultural project teams.
